The artist's work on this page is by Anton Schutte a photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa.
This film was made in Blikkiesdorp in Delft, Cape Town.
Anton said; This is part of a series of films I plan to release with the aim of raising awareness of the living conditions of the majority of South Africans and Immigrants living in South Africa.
Along the way hope to show you just how bad these living conditions are and highlight the massive gap in living conditions across South Africa, I also hope to highlight the incredibly happy, friendly people who make the most of this terrible situation.

UNDERSTAND THE URBAN INDUSTRY
THE URBAN INDUSTRY - ANALYZED, EXPOSED AND EXPLAINED
The Urban Industry (Naik & Oldfield, 2007) can be understood in similar ways to the Prison Industrial Complex or the Military Industrial Complex.
The Urban Industry is mutually supporting economic, political, cultural and social investments that knowingly and unknowingly contribute to the processes causing urbanisation and the centralisation of humanity in to urban areas -often in large or mega cities.
